Gratitude Prayer

The Gratitude Prayer that we use is adapted

from a Family Prayer of Robert Louis Stevenson.

Behold our family here assembled.

We are grateful for this loving home,

For the love that unites us,

For the Peace accorded us this day,

For the excitement with which we expect the morrow,

For the perfect health, the delightful work,

The financial abundance, the delicious food

And the bright skies that make our lives delightful.

For our family and friends in all parts of the earth.

And so it is..........Amen

As you have witnessed, I further adapt it with each meal and setting to fit the occasion, day and group that is present. Thank you for participating in many joyous meals and celebrations with us. May peace, love, light, grace and ease be yours today, tomorrow and always.
